Hedging and tree time approaches!

Its the time of year when rootball stock comes intot he nurseries and hedging and larger tree planting is the order of the day.

Plants are largely dormant and field grown stock can be lifted, roots are wrapped in hessian and can be transported and planted at much lower cost than containerised plants. The picture above was a full container load of 4m Photinias that we planted a few years ago in Potters bar, more commonly we are asked for laurel hedging and screening, yew hedging (this is the only time of year to get really good big yew), and even box hedging which we can get at a range of sizes from 40cm, but much more bushy and mature than the normal pot grown specimens.

We recently checked and we know that we can deliver most options to site for you at lower prices that we could find on the web, and obviously our lovely maintenance team will be happy to quote you for removal of old hedging, mulching, and planting of the new stock!
